  • The Boat is moored just down on the pontoon from our meeting point. Just wait at the top and our skipper will come and collect you.

  • Our trips are suitable for guests of varying physical abilities, but please be aware that activities like RIB tours are inherently physical. If you are pregnant or have health concerns, we recommend consulting with your doctor before booking. For those needing a more tailored experience, we offer private tours that can be customized to meet different needs and ensure comfort.

  • At Explorer Water Taxis, we welcome passengers of all ages. Babies are included, and we provide specially designed lifejackets for them. Children under the age of 3 travel for free. Please inform us when booking if you will be bringing young children.

  • Our operations continue unless weather conditions pose a safety risk, such as excessive winds or heavy rain. The River Exe offers sheltered waters, and our boats are designed to handle diverse weather comfortably. If we need to cancel, we’ll offer alternative dates or times.

  • While our boats are designed to keep you dry, the nature of being on the water means you might experience light spray on occasion. Our skippers do their utmost to minimise this, ensuring a pleasant journey for everyone.

  • Please minimise belongings and leave large bags in your car. Small handbags or shoulder bags that do not require hand holding can be brought aboard.
